COMMERCIAL MANAGER / DIRECTOR, SSM COAL
SSM Coal is purchasing Indonesian coal for sale into world markets via
a network of marketing personnel in Asia, US, South America and
Europe. The main role of this position is to secure coal for this
network by building up a portfolio of reliable suppliers of good
quality thermal coal from Kalimantan and Sumatra and also by
developing Innovative opportunities to add value to SSM's portfolio in
line with the Company's declared strategy. It requires an open system
of communication with and strong support for the. sales network. The
Commercial Manager / Director will report directly to the Head Office
in Rotterdam.
Applicants must have a first degree plus at least 5 years work
experience with International exposure, preferably in marketing or
purchasing of coal, natural resources or other commodities. Mining
personnel looking for new challenges are welcome to apply. Applicants
with no coal experience will be considered but only if they can
demonstrate a sound, relevant business background and a history of
learning fast.
