Reporting to the AVP-Underwriting, the Underwriting Manager will be
responsible for:
§ The underwriting functions for all lines of business issued by
the
company
§ Developing and implementing Underwriting policies and

coordinating related activities between head office and the sales
forces
§ Making decision equitable to the clients, deliverable to the
agent
and profitable to the company
§ Ensuring the process is appropriate with the quality objective
§ Making good relationship with Reinsurance companies, providers

The qualifications:
§ A university graduate with at least 4 years experience in
underwriting area (for those with Medical degree) or at least 6
years
experience in underwriting area (for those without Medical degree)
§ Has completed AAAIJ certification, with sound understanding of
insurance coverage policies and in-depth understanding of
Underwriting
disciplines
§ Fluency in written and spoken English, computer literacy (Word,
Excel)
§ Good communicator with good presentation skills
§ Analytical thinker with strong managerial skill
SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST (IT)
Reporting to the Senior Manager – IT Application Support, the
Senior
Business Analyst will be responsible for:
§ Collecting and analyzing user requirements.
§ Producing Functional and/or System specifications.
§ Building, enhancing and maintaining simple to medium systems to
cope
with business needs.
§ Monitoring and coaching Systems Analysts and/or Programmers in
the
delivery of systems development tasks.
The qualifications:
§ University degree in Computer Science or related discipline
§ 6 to 8 years working experience in application development
preferably
in life insurance field; and last 3 years in Business Analyst /
System
Analyst role.
· Ability to apply: expert systems analysis and design skills,
advanced
vendor management skills, competent systems project management
skills
· Knowledge :Systems Development Life Cycles, its stages, major
tasks
and deliverables; Insurance principles and terminology, insurance
and
financial services, insurance and financial services company
operations
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT MANAGER
Reporting to the Senior Manager Accounting, the incumbent is
responsible
for supervising accounting daily activities (5 days close
activities),
Agis Accounting, Investment Accounting, Accounts reconciliation,
and
reporting to Regional Accounting/Corporate Accounting.
The qualifications:
§ University graduate major in Accounting with 3 to 5 years of
relevant
experience, preferably with insurance company or public accounting
firm

§ Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
§ Good interpersonal skills with proven people management ability
SALES TRAINER
(to be based in Surabaya, Sumatra Selatan)
Responsible for delivering training to sales people, designing

training programs, evaluating the effectiveness of training
programs
and monitoring market trends for training purposes.
The qualifications:
§ University graduate from a reputable University from any
discipline
§ Two or more years of experience in training sales people within
life
insurance industry
§ Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

ACTUARIAL ANALYST
The main responsibility is to prepare reports and performs basic
analysis of the following:
§ Actuarial Valuation
§ Financial reports relating to actuarial matters
§ Experience study
§ Validation of actuarial assumptions
The qualifications:
§ University graduate major in Mathematics or Actuarial Science,
preferably have passed at least 2 PAI exams
§ Problem solver and analytical thinker
