Construction and Contract Mining company which have been operating in
Indonesia for more than 30 years. To meet the current needs and in
anticipation of our future growth, we are looking for highly qualified
key persons to fill the following challenging position:
Mining Engineer
Experience :
Applicants should have :
1. Minimum 5 years experience in mining industries. Experiences in
construction, fabrication, operation or production will be an
advantage.
2. First class English skills, in particular written English must be
of a very high standard.
Location :
Initially (first 6 months), the position will be Jakarta based on the
MOS Implementation team (Management Operating System – Petrosea's own
mine operation system). Some site work will be included. After this
period the position will report to the Mining Business manager and
have periods of project work.
Role responsibilities :
1. To assist the Senior Mining Engineer in the development of long
term mine plans and short term detailed mine execution plans
integrating the MOS process and provide the necessary parameters
needed by MOS on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term
control to achieve the long term mine plan.
2. Assist with the implementation of the MOS system through leadership
of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports,
and troubleshooting problems encountered within the system.
3. Work with the surveyors to contribute to the compilation of monthly
progress claims
4. Responsible for the accurate and timely production of the monthly,
weekly and daily reports
5. Maintain a very high proficiency in the use of mine planning
software.
6. Coach and mentor Graduate Mining Engineers and Technical Assistants
to ensure that they are being prepared to take on higher
responsibilities within the organisation.
7. Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing Mine planning
and design support needed by the Estimator
Education :
S1 (BS) Degree in Mining Engineer from a recognised university.
Remuneration :
