Applications are invited for a PhD studentship in experimental physics, especially nano- and
nanoimprint lithography. This is part of a joint university-industry collaboration project to improve
the design of electrodes used in the production of chlorate for bleaching pulp in the industry.
Alternatively, and depending on the preference of the applicant, the education can be directed
towards the field of microscopy (TEM, optical microscopy, AFM and SEM).
The position is available immediately at the Department of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics at
Mid-Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden, and has a duration of four years.
To qualify for the PhD program, the applicant must have completed a M.Sc. with physics major.
