We are seeking several key people for our Jakarta office to fill a
number of senior positions in our Company :
Senior Geophysicist (Code: Geo1-05)
Position requirement
A BSc degree in Geophysics or related Geoscience is required. A
Masters degree in the same field would be an advantage. You Should
also have a minimum 10 years of experience in workstation
interpretation of seismic and a good understanding of exploration
geology and drilling operations.
Excellent ability to interpret seismic data using industry workstation
software is required, as are skills in modeling, inversion and
visualization (e.g. VoxelGeo software).
You must possess a highly effective communication and multi-
disciplinary team working skills.
Position responsibilities
Based in Jakarta, your role will involve overseeing processing and
reprocessing activities, designing new 2D and 3D seismic surveys,
delineating hydrocarbon plays in the concession area and using the
available data to generate a prospect portfolio. You will need to
support the proposals to drill wells by applying the most modern
techniques of quantitative seismic analyses.
You will be expected to play a lead role in stimulating and guiding
the implementation of the very latest technologies and ideas in
liaison with our Research & Development group in Houston. You will
also need to co-ordinate G & G activities with the drilling group and
participate in well planning and operations.
Your other responsibilities will include data room reviews, and
attending farmout presentations in support of new business
development.
Drilling Engineer (Code: Ops1-05)
Position requirement :
A BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline is
required. You also have a minimum of 3-8 years of experience in
drilling and completion operations with an Oil & Gas Operator or a
major Integrated Service Company.
You must possess strong technical skills, a good knowledge of business
ethics and be able to communicate effectively. You are a team player
and should demonstrate innovative thinking as well as planning and
organizational capabilities.
Position responsibilities :
Based in Jakarta, you will be expected to provide drilling engineering
support in preparation of well plans and execution of daily
operations. Your primary function will be to ensure wells are planned
and executed in a safe, cost effective, and environmentally
responsible manner while adhering to all company core values,
corporate safety policies, and local regulations.
