Sr. Service Engineer / Supervisor
Mechanical and PLC/Electrical
You are a member of the Field and Shop Operations (FSO) Department, and through the Field Service Section Manager reporting to the Manager FSO. In the position of Sr. Service Engineer / Supervisor you will be offered the opportunity to develop to Superintendent level, which is a worldwide recognized and certified qualification in the Wärtsilä organisation, leading to international opportunities. You will be trained theoretically and practically to the latest available technological development, partly abroad.
You will be accountable to develop and maintain harmonious relationship with customer representatives such as Power Plant Managers and Superintendents (and their personnel) that you encounter for Power Plants and Marine Services, to deliver and communicate high working standards leading to distinguished quality service levels and internal and external customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible to provide effective and responsive commissioning, troubleshooting, supervision and engineering services, as well as the reporting in English language regarding schedule, budget, changes, executed works and findings, and all other general communications. You will be required to adjust to, adopt and act in accordance with the globally implemented Wärtsilä way of working.
You are expected to have at least Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with additional five years working experience of which three in similar job, preferably servicing medium and/or slow speed diesel and gas engines of any brand. You should be mature and self confident with good communication skill, in both English and Indonesian. You should be able to work independently as well as supervise and work together in a team with other engineers.
