DRILLING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE STATE OF QATAR
Qatar Petroleum is the National Oil Company of the State of Qatar and
is situated in Doha, the Capital City. Qatar is a peninsula projecting
into the Arabian Gulf which has an all year round warm coastal
climate. For those unfamiliar with the region, Qatar offers a secure,

invite applications for the following positions:
Operations Engineer (Ref; DRD/05/002)
BSc. in Petroleum Engineering plus relevant specialized industry
courses in drilling, cementing, mud engineers, horizontal and
directional drilling, completion, drilling bit/wellhead and well
control certification. Must be computer literate. At least 6 years of
drilling engineering/
Senior Drilling Engineer (Ref; DRD/05/003)
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline, plus
relevant drilling industry courses. Higher education degrees (MS/PhD)
are preferable. 12 years in Drilling and Completion engineering work,
including 2-3 years well site experience and 5-6 years in operations
engineering.
Drilling Supervisor (Ref; DRD/05/005)
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or related disciplines or relevant
operational experience. Minimum 10 years in Drilling Operations and 5
years minimum experience in a Supervisory capacity.
Wireline Supervisor (Ref; DRD/06/738)
Diploma in Petroleum/Mechanica
well services practices related to wireline and well completion/
testing activity in sweet/sour oil and high pressure gas wells with a
reputed oil company. Conversant with wireline tools equipment from
different manufacturers and be fully aware of the safety aspects/
practices related to the job, of which 2 years experience should be as
independent wireline supervisor.
Completion Engineer (Ref; DRD/06/240)
B.Sc. in Petroleum/Mechanica
completion equipment, well stimulation, wellhead, mud/completion fluid
engineering, horizontal and directional drilling. 10 years experience
in oil field drilling, well completion/testing activity in sweet/sour
oil and high pressure gas wells, of which 8 years should be as a
Completion engineer in a reputed oil company.
Safety Engineer (Ref; DRD/06/211)
B.Sc. in Engg. Qualified Safety Lead Auditor Recognized qualification
in Safety. 10 years experience in Safety in Petrochemical or related
industry. Must have sound working knowledge of drilling and well
servicing business.
Planning Engineer (Contracts/Logistic
B.Sc.in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline. 8 years
experience in drilling and operations engineering, 3 years on the
wellsite including onshore and offshore rigs, at least 2 years in
financial/contracts engineering/
