TERMINAL OPERATIONS/ PRODUCTION
SENIOR OPERATORS
Degree or diploma in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering. 7-
10 years experience in oil industry. Experience in tank farm
operations and oil movement is desirable. Offshore oil industry
experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience in the
following systems; crude oil separation, fuel gas plant operations,
tank farm operations, oil movement metering and pigging operations.
FIELD OPERATORS
Certificate in Chemical / Mechanical / Production Engineering. Minimum
of 5 years experience in oil industry. Experience in tank farm
operations and oil movement is desirable. Offshore oil industry
experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience in the
following systems; crude oil separation, fuel gas plant operations,
tank farm operations, oil movement, metering and pigging operations.
GENERAL OPERATOR
Diploma in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering. 5-7 years
experience, in oil industry; with minimum of 2 years experience as
Panel Operator. Experience in tank farm operations and oil movement is
desirable. Offshore oil industry experience is preferred. Candidates
should have experience in the following systems: crude oil separation,
fuel gas plant operations, tank farm operations, oil movement metering
and pigging operations.
FIELD SUPPORT
SENIOR TECHNICIAN-INSTRUMENTS
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by two years
full time formal training in instrumentation trade including
electronics and microprocessor control systems, OND or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years experience of instrumentation maintenance and repair
in Oil & Gas industry or pumping stations and distribution networks,
including 5 years experience in solid state logic/ microprocessor/
variable drive control systems.
GENERAL TECHNICIANS-OPERATIONS
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years full
time technical training in process plant operations, to City and
Guilds Institute First Certificate level plus relevant courses in
safety & plant operations. Fair level of spoken and written English.
Minimum of 3 years in operating process plant in waste water or sewage
treatment plant.
GENERAL TECHNICIANS-ELECTRICAL
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years
technical study to City & Guilds or equivalent level. 10 years
experience in electrical maintenance of high voltage distribution and
overhead line networks in the petrochemical or power distribution
industries.
GENERAL TECHNICIANS-MECHANICAL
Completion of High School, followed by 2 years formal course in
mechanical crafts. 6-7 years mechanical crafts and maintenance
experience in Oil /Gas/ Petrochemical industry. Fair knowledge of
stationery & rotating equipment maintenance & troubleshooting. Good
spoken and written English. Should possess basic computer skills.
DRAUGHTSMAN-ELECTRICAL
Completion of Higher Secondary education followed by 3 years full time
formal education in Draughtsmanship to OND level or equivalent. 5
years experience in drawing and drafting. Will carry out a variety of
electrical work such as layouts and details relating to modifications
to existing equipment or work related to new projects.
SENIOR TECHNICIANS-ELECTRICAL
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years study
of OND, City & Guild or equivalent level. 15 Years experience in
electrical maintenance work in distribution facilities and 33KV
overhead lines.
GENERAL TECHNICIANS- MATERIALS
Completion of Secondary education (12 years) followed by 3 years
formal full time course in Mechanical Engineering to National Diploma
level or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years experience with the
Oil / Gas / Petrochemical industry with sound knowledge of MESC
(Materials and Equipment Standard Code), stock proposal methods.
Experience in handling shutdown materials requirement. Proficient in
written and spoken English and also in computer software packages.
SENIOR TECHNICIANS-PLANNING
Completion of Higher Secondary Education followed by 3 years formal
full time course in Mechanical Engineering to National Diploma or
equivalent. At least 7 years experience in maintenance work in Oil &
Gas, Refinery/ Petrochemicals or similar industrial process plants,
including experience of shutdown requirements and procedures.
Experience in CMMS system having good computer skills in maintenance
planning software.
