Geophysicist (GPH)
Technical Requirements:
• Geophysical background a must, posses strong mapping skills and
experience in seismic interpretation using workstation. AVO, Inversion
and other seismic attribute analysis is an advantage
• Good understanding of hydrocarbon exploration to generate plays and
prospects as well as strong skill in reservoir development
• Ability to apply geological concepts to geophysical interpretation
• Good knowledge in seismic data acquisition and processing QC
• Experienced and good knowledge of geophysical interpretation system
softwares such as Geographix
Geologist (GEO)
Technical Requirements:
• Self motivated with initiative to generate exploration plays and
prospects in a variety of structural and stratigraphic setting
• Able to incorporate geology and geophysical data to generate plays
and prospects
• Experienced in well monitoring and well sitting during drilling
operation
• Able to carry out field development work with emphasis on log
analysis and generating well proposals
• Good knowledge of geological interpretation softwares
Facilities Engineer (FE)
Technical Requirements:
• Experienced in project management and capable to coordinate work to
achieve the quality desired while meeting the project schedule.
Experience as lead project engineering an advantage
• In-depth working knowledge of oil and gas facility design and
operation
• Capable in preparing bidding document, issue inquiry requisitions,
review vendor technical and commercial offers
• Experienced in preparing PFD's, PID's, facility design and equipment
design and specifications
• Working knowledge of API and ASME codes
• Chemical engineer graduate an advantage
Drilling Engineer (DE)
Technical Requirements:
• Capable to design and plan drilling procedures for the most
efficient, safest and cost effective way to drill a well
• Able to prepare and manage drilling services contract as well as
assisting in procurement of drilling equipment
• Experienced in preparing ATE's and well cost estimation
• Able to evaluate and monitor progress during drilling. Experience as
company man during drilling operation is an advantage
Senior Procurement (SP)
Technical Requirements:
• Ability to obtain required product in a timely, cost effective
manner to support production operations and eliminate manufacturing
downtime due to part availability
• Capability to ensure purchase orders are accurate, approved and
released in a timely manner
• Able to perform professionally and build a good business
relationship with suppliers
• Ability to implement approved sourcing strategy
• Exhibit good documentation skills
• Drilling experience/knowledge is preferable
Senior Human Resources Staff (HR)
Technical Requirements:
• Able to work closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy
role, assisting the managers to understand and implement policies and
procedures
• Capable in recruiting staff, including developing job description,
shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
• Able to develop policies on issues such as working conditions,
performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures,
absence management; planning strategies, immediate and long-term staff
requirements and compensation & benefits
• Capable in analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental
managers
Basic Requirements For All Positions:
• Minimum 5 years experience as a professional in the upstream oil and
gas industry
• Have relevant technical background for the position applied, minimum
S1 Graduate
• Posses good presentation and communications skills with fluent
English both oral and written
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Good relationship and network with BPMIGAS personnel is an advantage
