Community Mobilizers

Qualifications include: Minimum diploma degree from
social, economic or other education background,
English and computer skills is preferable,
communication skill, ability to interact effectively
with a wide variety of people from various
backgrounds, including organizing and facilitating
community meetings, the ability to work effectively in
a team as well as assume individual responsibility for
tasks, able to take initiative and willingness to
work in the field, accurate in his/her work
performance with the ability to independently handle
multiple tasks at once if necessary, experience
working in/with communities and implementing projects.

Responsibilities include: Manage and implement the
Community Development processes in his/her Cluster,
Assist in the coordinating of activities within the
respective cluster and team leader, With other team
members, develop and implement grants selection and
grants administration process, Assist grantees in
meeting MC administrative and financial requirements,
Ensure that projects are community based and
implemented in a manner which empowers the community,
Assist in the capacity building of village structures
when and where appropriate, establish and maintain a
comprehensive filing system for the mobilization
activities including project documents, success
stories, monitoring notes and photos.
