RASGAS COMPANY LIMITED is in the business of production and sale of Liquefied Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products.
The company's operations facility is located about 80 km north of the capital city; Doha, in the State of Qatar, RasGas is currently building further production facilities both Onshore and Offshore and is seeking highly skilled personnel to fill the following positions.
Information Services Analyst (DBA)
Job Purposes :
Administers and maintains database management and administration services for the relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL, Server). This responsibility covers direct support of the RDBMS itself and application services, including but not necessarily limited to backup, recovery, instance performance monitoring, tuning, problem resolution, capacity planning, implementation, space allocation and management, migration, patching and upgrades of RDBMS.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience :
• BSc degree in Computer Science / Information Systems.
• Must be certified from ORACLE as DBA.
• Minimum of 8 years IT experience of which five years or more as Oracle DBA.
• Be a Team Player.
• Must also be capable of working independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
• ERP Support Experience would be a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
