1. Description:
PT . Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk has wide national & international presence through a global network of distributors and breweries (member Heineken Group, see www.heineken.com for detail). Multibintang owns and manages one of the leading portfolios of beer brands and is one of the leading brewers in terms of sales volume and profitability. We seek a challenger person to be placed as Brewery Technician. Brewery Technicians do a variety of tasks in the production and packaging of beer.

• Sampangagung Brewery (Mojokerto)
• Tangerang Brewery (Tangerang)
4. Tasks and Duties:
Brewery Technicians may do some or all of the following tasks:
• Operate computerized machinery that controls the brewing process
• Clean and sterilize the machinery, tanks and the production area
• Analyze beer using laboratory equipment such as a speck, which measures the bitterness and color of beer
• Record and send production information to computer databases
• Make stock checks
• Order raw materials for brewing
• Ensure the machines wash, label and fill bottles correctly
• Operate an automated brew house
• Fill kegs and tankers with beer
• Operate and clean beer-filtering machines
• Use a machine to pack bottles into crates or cartons
• Identify any operational problems
• Conduct CILT & autonomous maintenance
5. Personal Requirements
Skills:
Brewery Technicians should have good mechanical and technical skills, problem-solving skills, English communication skills (min. 475 TOEFL Score), and maths and computer skills. They must be able to operate machinery and test beer samples.
Knowledge:
Brewery Technicians need to know about machine operation and maintenance, and the technical and scientific processes of making beer (D3/S1 degree in chemical, mechanical or electronics). They also need to know about methods of quality control, hygiene and sterilization.
Personal Qualities:
Brewery Technicians need to be:
• practical, with initiative
• accurate and careful, with an eye for detail
• patient and reliable
• able to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Brewery Technicians need to be reasonably fit and healthy, with a high standard of personal cleanliness and good hand-eye coordination. They also need to have normal colour vision.
