CARE International Indonesia, an international Non-Government Organization,
is implementing Recovery Programme in the Tsunami hit areas of Banda Aceh,
Aceh Besar and Simuelue. The programme aims to rehabilitate tsunami affected
population of the three districts. CARE International Indonesia-Banda Aceh
is presently seeking the following position :

IT OFFICER

Based : Simeulue Island, Banda Aceh
Other benefit : salary as per CII, per diem for TDY outside from Simeulue /
BA, Jamsostek, medical after 3 months service
General responsibility :
- Assist the Network systems Administrator in running the network.
- Maintain and service the domain controller and active directory hosting
all care computer network.
- Install new computers and network and IT devices as required.
- Configure and setup new PC and laptops according to the organizations
standards.
- Maintain an updated database of users, login's and computers on the
server.
- Troubleshoot problems and malfunctions on clients computers and network.
- Make sure all computers on the network have updated virus definitions and
other required security software and settings.
- Maintain an updated database of all computers, printers and other network
and IT devices, with Care tracking and serial number, the location of
equipment and assignment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Competencies :
- Trustworthy with sound and quick judgment and the ability to remain calm
and think clearly in emergency situations.
- Ability to keep confidential network information, passwords and other
sensitive information residing on the network.
- Accuracy in reporting and time keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain good
relationships with colleagues
- Excellent communication skill: ability to articulate and disseminate
technical information in an understandable manner and to train end users on
different computer and network devices.
- Ability to work under pressure
Other qualifications :
- IT / Computer Knowledge education background
- Have minimum 1 year experience in IT job
