Ph.D. Fellowships in Economics

University of Venice (Italy)

Four fellowships offering full financial support for three-years are
available for students admitted to the Ph.D. Programme in Economics at
the University of Venice.

The first two years of the programme are primarily devoted to course
work: in particular, there is a series of core courses in the first year
and elective courses in various fields in the second year. The programme
includes the possibility of spending up to one year abroad (after the
first semester of the second year) at one of its first-rate
international academic partners, including the universities in the
European Network known as Quantitative Economics Doctorate (QED).

The official language of the School is English and foreign applicants
are very welcome. Applicants should hold a degree in Economics, Business
Administration, and related disciplines, or in a field with a strong
quantitative background. An orientation towards research is required.

Application deadline: July 7th, 2006. Further information: see http://
